Pick the seat you are running for

Each of the six ballots covers different ground, reports its money differently and uses a different results form. BallotWinners is set up differently for each one, so pick the seat you are contesting.

Watch the count come in, county by county

BallotWinners adds up the forms your agents send at station, constituency, county and national level. You get your national total and your share in each of the 47 counties, updated while counting is still going on.

See how every constituency in your county is doing

A county has between eight and seventeen constituencies. BallotWinners keeps the numbers for each one separate, so you can see which constituency is winning votes for you and which one is losing them.

Scope
One county · every constituency, ward and stream inside it
What it does
Every constituency scored on agents, doors knocked and issues raised
Your MCA candidates run as one ticket, sharing the same volunteers
Spending logged with a receipt and an approval before it is paid
Streams with no agent listed for the constituency coordinator

See where senate votes are being lost

Many voters leave the senate paper blank after voting for president, governor and MP. BallotWinners reads the rejected-ballot figure off every Form 38A your agents send, so you can see which stations that happens in.

Scope
One county-wide ballot · every constituency, ward and stream in it
What it does
Rejected ballots read off each station's Form 38A
An agent named for every stream, and the empty ones listed
Turnout at each station, from the forms rather than from rumour

Organise a whole county in groups, not one by one

You cover a whole county on a much smaller budget. BallotWinners builds your campaign out of supporter groups — a chama, a market, a church group — each with its own captain and target.

Scope
One county-wide ballot · organised by group, not by street
What it does
Groups you create and name yourself, each with a captain
One message from the captain reaches her whole group
Voters registered by your team, counted by ward and by member
Every group's week measured against the target it was given

Know your constituency ward by ward

BallotWinners gives each of your wards a coordinator and its own numbers, so the ward that is behind on doors or agents is easy to spot. Every complaint your team picks up in the field is logged with a photo and a location, and stays on the list until it is dealt with.

Scope
One constituency · every ward, polling centre and stream in it
What it does
A coordinator per ward, with their own volunteers and targets
Complaints logged in the field with a photo, and closed out
Households visited and concerns recorded, ward by ward
Events and their costs tracked against the budget

Run a ward campaign from a cheap phone

A ward seat is decided by a few hundred votes, and by what people think about garbage, water, street lights and school fees. BallotWinners runs in the phone browser with no app to install, and records every door your team knocks and every complaint they hear.

Get your own results as the forms come in

Your agent photographs the signed results form at the station — 34A to 39A, whichever ballot you are on. The figures are read off the photo, checked against the station's registered voters, and added to your tally. By evening you have your own count, and every number links back to the form it came from.

Duplicates are caught
The same form sent twice, or a serial already used, is flagged before it counts.
Checks the arithmetic
A form with more votes than registered voters is held back, not counted.
Incidents with evidence
Every report carries a photo, the station code and the time it happened.

Volunteers

Volunteers who bring in more volunteers

Every volunteer gets a link, and whoever joins through it is counted to them. You can put volunteers into groups — boda riders, teachers, market traders — and the groups compete on a leaderboard, so your team grows without extra spending.
